Comprehensive infringement and trampling of the basic rights granted by the Constitution

In his self-defense and accusation, Dr. Chen Jingyuan accused law enforcement officers in the Kunming public security, procuratorial, and judicial systems of numerous violations of the Constitution of the People’s Republic of China during the handling of his case. These violations include:

1. Complete disregard for citizens’ fundamental rights: Law enforcement officers disregarded citizens’ rights to life, personal dignity, survival and development, equality, supervision, legitimate property rights, and political rights, wantonly trampling on the Constitution.

2. Focused violations of freedom of speech, thought, and belief: Chen Jingyuan specifically emphasized that law enforcement officers, under the pretext of “combating rumors,” brutally interfered with and trampled on citizens’ freedom of speech, thought, and belief, depriving them of their fundamental rights.

3. Misunderstanding of legal principles: Law enforcement officers classified citizens’ emotional expressions, artistic creations, and exchanges of ideas as “rumors,” not only violating the Constitution but also misinterpreting the provisions of specialized laws such as the Criminal Law, failing to protect citizens’ rights under the law.

4. Denial of human civilization: Law enforcement officers’ actions were accused of not only depriving citizens of their rights but also constituting a “complete denial and subversion” of human civilization.

5. Endangering national and human interests: The actions of law enforcement officers are accused of undermining the legitimate rights and interests of citizens, endangering the common interests of the country, the nation and all mankind, and pushing themselves into the abyss of crime.
